Product Description

 

Cylindrical voice-coil motors feature high responsiveness, high acceleration, and low-mass coils. They exhibit no cogging effect and zero hysteresis. They are characterized by a simple structure, light weight, high-frequency response, and smooth operation.
SUPT MOTION’s VCAR00025-0127-00A delivers a precise peak force of 2.55 N with a total stroke of 12.7 mm, making it an ideal choice for semiconductor wafer probe testing, precision height positioning, and small-part pick-and-place operations. With a moving coil weight of only 6.6 g, it enables high-speed stepping and stable response, which are critical for high-throughput testing.
This cylindrical voice coil motor has a maximum operating voltage of 11.6 V and can be easily integrated with standard industrial controllers. A back-EMF constant of 0.77 V/m/s ensures smooth speed control. With a stator diameter of 12.7 mm and a total length of 24 mm, this voice coil motor can be easily installed in compact probe card assemblies or multi-station test heads.
